Three of my Seed Girl paintings set aside to dry! It’s been a creative whirlwind working with oils these past few weeks, but I’m feeling the pull to switch things up. Time to get back into soft pastels—one of my favorite mediums to experiment and play with! 🌸🎨

I’ve also got a couple of exciting events coming up, and I can’t wait to share all the details with you later this week. Stay tuned—it’s going to be good!

✨ Almost Finished: The Bunny Guardian ✨

I’m so excited to share a glimpse of my newest seed girl, The Bunny Guardian! 🌕

She’s almost ready—I just need to add the gold border. But I couldn’t wait to show off her glowing backlit hair, the moonlight, the little red mushrooms, and her whimsical presence.

My Seed Girls are all about nurturing and protecting the magic in nature and all its amazing creatures. 🌱

Oh, and this painting also features my first-ever chicken! 🐔 I’ve never painted one before, can you believe it? Kind of weird, but I thought I’d share lol

Normally, I don’t share much of my sketching process, especially since I often work digitally on my iPad—it’s so convenient for traveling! But the Seed Girls are different. From the moment this collection began to take shape, I felt a pull to connect with the tactile, organic practice of sketching with pen and paper.

Why pen? Because there’s no erasing. Every line, every curve, every stroke stays. It feels natural, spontaneous, and unfiltered—just like the Seed Girls themselves. The process mirrors the themes of this collection: growth, imperfection, and embracing the beauty of what unfolds naturally.
These sketches are the beginning of their stories, and I’m so excited to share this journey with you. 🌱💫
